12 day Tanzania safari

After your early morning breakfast , you will go ahead with a transfer to Tarangire National Park, which is within the northern safari circuit. This park is considered to be the  5th largest National Park, which famously known for the large herds of elephants.

The park is named after the Tarangire River that flows within the park. The  transfer to  Tarangire National Park will take about 2 to 3 hours of the day.

Upon arrival in the park , you will go ahead with  a game drive around the park to see several species of wildlife. Some of the wildlife encountered during a game drive include the lions , elephants , wildebeests , leopards, and many others.

In the evening, you will proceed to your lodge for dinner and overnight.

Start the day with a guided game drive in the morning hours around the tarangire river where you will see more wildlife so active and several large herds of elephants around  the Tarangire river. After the game drive , you will  return to the lodge for relaxation.

Later in the Afternoon , you will go ahead with a transfer to Lake Manyara National Park.  This park is known to be home to tree-climbing lions that are similar to those in Queen Elizabeth National Park in Uganda.

As you arrive in Lake Manyara , you will continue with a guided game drive as you proceed to your lodge for dinner and overnight.

The day will start with a guided game drive around the Lake Manyara National Park which will offer you a close encounter with several wildlife. You will later go ahead with a transfer from Lake Manyara National Park to the Ngorongoro Crater.

Upon arrival in the Ngorongoro Crater, you will proceed with a transfer to the  lodge for relaxation and overnight.

You start the day with an early morning breakfast at the lodge and then you continue with a  full day game drive around  the Ngorongoro Crater and later on you descend into the crater to see the several wildlife, including the  big five wildlife like lions , leopards , black rhinos ,elephants  ,buffaloes , zebras , and many other wildlife.

Later in the evening, you engage in a sundowner at the favourite point around the crater with the best views of the sunset.

On day 6 of the 12-day Tanzania safari, you will start off with a relaxed morning breakfast at the lodge, then head to the Serengeti National Park for a transfer. The transfer to the Serengeti National Park will take you to the northern part of the park known for the iconic wildlife migration  which will take 5 to 6 hours of the day.

While in the  northern Serengeti, you will start with a game drive as you proceed to the lodge for dinner and overnight.

After your morning  breakfast , you will go ahead with a full-day adventure in the northern Serengeti National Park . You will start with the game drive around the Mara River which plays an iconic role in the wildebeest migration.

On a lucky day during the full-day adventure , you will be able to witness the wildebeest migration. You will also encounter several predators around the Mara River, like lions , leopards, and crocodiles.

Later in the evening , you will return to the lodge for refreshment and overnight.

Start the day with a relaxation at the lodge  and then you will go ahead with a transfer to the southern Serengeti National Park. In the transfer , you will have the views of the scenic endless plains of the serengeti eco system.

Upon arrival in the southern Serengeti, you will check into your lodge. Later in the evening , you will continue with the Masai village tour  where you will engage in several activities like cultural dances , bead making , fashion wear, and many others.

The full-day adventure in the  southern Serengeti National Park will start with a guided game drive around the region . Depending on the time of travel , you may encounter the calving season in this region of the great migration.

You will encounter several predators targeting the calves like the lions , hyenas, and leopards. The other wildlife that you will encounter includes the elephants , buffalo, zebras , giraffes , and many others.

On day 10 , you will start the day with a relaxation, and then later you will be transferred to the airstrip for a domestic flight to Zanzibar. In the transfer , you will see the scenic views of the  park  and other areas.

Upon arrival in Zanzibar, you will be transferred to the hotel for relaxation. In the evening , you will visit several beaches around for relaxation as you swim in the clear waters of the sea.

While on your second last day of the 12-day Tanzania safari , you will  start the day with a relaxed breakfast at the hotel, and then later on, you will continue with a visit to the city of Stone Town. In the  city tour , you will be able to see and learn about several Arab cultures that were introduced at the coast.

You will see several Asian architectures, narrow streets ,mosques , administrative centres , and many others.  Later on, you will proceed with a visit to the spice market, where you will have a taste of the several spices grown around the area.

In the evening , you will continue with beach relaxation as you have the last beat of the 12-day Tanzania safari.

On the  final day , you start the day with a relaxed breakfast  at the  lodge, and later on you will proceed with a transfer to the airport for your flight back home.
