This park is situated within the Manyara region and named after the lake Manyara where the lake covers 3 quarters of the park.

Lake Manyara National is popularly known for the tree-climbing lions which are the same as those of the Queen Elizabeth National Park in western Uganda.

On this safari to Lake Manyara National Park, you will enjoy exciting game viewing. You’ll also encounter wildlife and spot lesser flamingos during excellent bird watching around Lake Manyara.

You’ll see lions, leopards, elephants, buffaloes, impalas, rhinos, and more on the 2-day Lake Manyara safari.

You will meet the Masai community, one of the most well-known cultural groups in Tanzania during this safari.

Day by Day

Day 1

Pick up and transfer to the Lake Manyara National Park.

On day 1 of the Lake Manyara safari, meet your guide for a short briefing about the trip. Later on, you will start with the transfer from Arusha to the Lake Manyara National Park.

Upon arrival in the park, you will begin a game drive to spot various wildlife throughout the area. In the evening, you will engage in a sundowner at the banks of the lake Manyara.

You will later on go ahead to the lodge for dinner and overnight.
