3-Day Samburu Black Rhino Tracking Safari

You will rise early in the morning, start with breakfast, and then you will later on continue with a transfer to the Sera rhino sanctuary, which will take about 2 to 3 hours of the day. On arrival at the Sanctuary, you will start with an orientation about the activity.

You will continue with the activity under the guidance of a ranger guide to ensure your safety during the tracking. In this tracking, you will follow the footsteps of the rhinos.

Once you come across them, you will maintain a distance of about 8 meters to ensure safety during a safari. You will also encounter other wildlife during the tracking, like zebras, giraffes, oryx, and several bird species.

You will later continue with a transfer to the Samburu community for a cultural experience in activities like cultural dances and bead making and learn about the community’s role in the conservation of the rhinos.

In the evening, you will go ahead with a sundowner, where you will have views of the rugged Samburu landscapes.

On the last day of the 3-day Samburu black rhino tracking safari, you will start the day with an early morning game drive around the reserve, where you will encounter a number of the wildlife. After the game drive, you will proceed with a transfer to Nairobi.

While in Nairobi, you will either choose to be transferred to the airport for your outbound flights or a hotel of your choice.
