Your journey
Day 1
Volcanoes National Park
Upon your arrival at Kigali International Airport, you will be welcomed by our representative from AllanBlackia Safaris outside customs and Immigration Hall. The guide will then transfer to Volcanoes National Park and on arrival you will check at your lodge followed by a visit to the Iby’iwacu cultural village.
Day 2
Volcanoes National Park
Today your day begins with an early – 05:00 am – drive to the Volcanoes National Park offices for Gorilla Trekking briefing that takes place at 7:00 am. You will then start your walk at 8:00 am.
Volcanoes National Park protects the steep slopes of this magnificent mountain range and is the home of the rare mountain gorilla and the rich mosaic of montane ecosystems, which embrace evergreen and bamboo forest, open grassland, swamp and heath, but the high point will be spending an hour with the remarkably peaceful gorillas despite their size and appearance as they go about their daily life, feeding, playing, resting and raising their young.
After the trek, you will return to the lodge for Lunch and afternoon will be at relaxation.
Day 3
Kigali, Rwanda
Wake up in the morning for breakfast and relax by the lodge. Your driver guide will then transfer you to the Airport in due time for your outbound flight lunch Enroute.
