3 days Rwanda Chimpanzee Trekking

On this adventure day, you will rise early in the morning and start over the day with breakfast. Later on, you will go ahead with a transfer to the park headquarters to start over with the chimpanzee trekking.

While at the park headquarters, you will engage in an orientation about the activity where you will be highlighted on the dos and don’ts about the activity. After the orientation, you will be assigned to professional rangers who will take you through the tracking of the chimpanzee.

As you come across the chimpanzee, you will have 1 hour viewing them in their natural habitat, maintaining a distance of 8 meters. You return to the lodge for lunch and relaxation.

Later in the afternoon, you will continue with the canopy walk that will be done on a suspended bridge at the top of the Nyungwe forest. On this walk, you will encounter several wildlife, like bird species and small primates.

On the final day with us, you will start the day with an early morning breakfast and then proceed with a transfer to Kigali. While in Kigali, you will choose to be transferred to the airport or hotel of your choice, which will mark the end of the safari.
