4-Day Gorillas and Game Flying Safari

After your early morning breakfast at the lodge, you will be transferred to the park headquarters for a briefing about the gorilla trekking. In this briefing, you will be highlighted on the dos and don’ts about the activity.

You will be grouped in groups of 8 people, where each group is supposed to visit one gorilla family . Later on you will continue with the activity, which will take 2 to 8 hours of the day, depending on where you meet the gorillas.

As you come across the gorillas, you will have 1 hour viewing the gorillas in their natural habitat.

Later on in the evening, you will continue with a visit to the Batwa community, which is one of the indigenous communities around the park that lived with the gorillas. In this community, you will engage in activities like cultural dances, coffee roasting, storytelling, and many others.

You will rise early in the morning and start with breakfast, and then later on continue with a transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park. This transfer will take about 4 to 5 hours of the day. Upon arrival in the park, you will start with a boat cruise that will take you through exploring the Kazinga Channel, which is within the park.

During the boat cruise, you will encounter several wildlife species like hippos, elephants, crocodiles, monitor lizards, and many others. After, you will return to the lodge for relaxation as you prepare for a night game drive.

Late in the evening, you will continue to the park for a night game drive, which will give you the opportunity to encounter the nocturnal wildlife around the park.

On the final day of the 4-day gorillas and game fly-in safari, you will proceed with an early morning game drive around the park. You will make a stopover for a scenic bush breakfast, and then later on you will proceed to the airstrip.

At the airstrip, you will engage in a domestic chartered flight back to Entebbe. In Entebbe, you will proceed with the outbound flight back home.
