5 Days Kidepo and Murchison Falls Uganda Safari

After your Early Morning Breakfast, you will have an early morning game drive within Kidepo Valley National Park. Kidepo Valley National Park is a renowned national park located in the rugged, semi-arid Karamoja region in the northeastern part of Uganda.

It is widely celebrated for its breathtaking savannah landscapes, diverse wildlife, and unique cultural heritage.

The park is acknowledged as one of the most magnificent and untouched wilderness areas in Africa offering visitors a wonderful game viewing experience.

Upon your Game drive, you will have the opportunity to witness an impressive array of wildlife, including but not limited to lions, leopards, elephants, giraffes, zebras, buffaloes, and various species of antelopes.

Additionally, the park is home to over 475 bird species, making it a paradise for bird enthusiasts and photographers. You will return back to the lodge for lunch and one hour of relaxation.

You will have a cultural tour in the afternoon and the cultural tour typically begins in the late afternoon, allowing you to witness the traditional customs and daily activities of the Karamojong community.

You will be welcomed with vibrant traditional dances, accompanied by rhythmic music created by local instruments such as the adungu and the nganga.

The rhythmic beats and energetic movements create an ambiance that echoes the spirit of the Karamojong people, fostering a sense of unity and community.

You will head back to the lodge for relaxation, Dinner and Overnight.

After your early morning breakfast, you will transfer to Murchison Falls National Park lunch enroute. If time permits, you will do Top of the fall and later check in at the lodge for Dinner Relaxation and Overnight.

You will set off at 6:30 am cross to the northern bank of river Nile head for a sunrise game drive to see the Cape buffaloes, Rothschild’s giraffes, Uganda kob, hartebeest and waterbucks.

You may also spot oribi, bushbuck, Bohor reedbuck, warthog and bush pig plus large carnivores including lions, leopards and spotted hyenas. Patas Monkeys and olive baboons head the list of six species of primates found in the park. Crocodiles and hippos will be seen along the banks of the Nile.

You will return to your lodge for a late breakfast and some relaxation before setting off in the afternoon for a Boat cruise on the placid Victoria Nile, upstream, to the base of the falls. En route you will see hippos, crocodiles, water buck and a wide variety of birds.

The boat stops just tens of meters from the “Devil’s Cauldron” for pictures to be taken of the photogenic and majestic Murchison Falls. Later get back to the lodge for a relaxed evening plus dinner and overnight.

Wake up to your early morning breakfast, Your Guide will drive you to Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary for Rhino Tracking. After you will have lunch and embark on your journey to Entebbe for your departure flight.
