5 Days Uganda Luxury Safari

Rise to the sounds of the wild and head out for a morning game drive in the northern part of the park, which is best for wildlife viewing. During this time, predators and herbivores are more active and therefore expect to spot a variety of wildlife, including elephants, lions, giraffes, hyenas, and different bird species. The morning game drive shall take you for about 3 hours and later return to the lodge for breakfast and relaxation.

In the afternoon, you will enjoy a luxury boat cruise to the bottom of Murchison Falls, where the world’s longest river is forced through a 7-meter gorge, creating a thunderous roar and dramatic spray. Along the cruise, you will observe hippos, Nile crocodiles, bathing elephants and a variety of bird species. Return to the lodge for relaxation. Enjoy your dinner with a sunset and have a peaceful overnight.

After a leisurely breakfast, you will drive to Pakuba Airstrip for a private charter and fly to Kihihi Airstrip for about 2 hours, offering aerial views of Uganda’s landscape. Upon arrival, you will be picked up by our representative for the next gorilla trekking experience, who will transfer you to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park.

Bwindi Impenetrable National Park is a UNESCO World Heritage site and Uganda’s prime gorilla destination, renowned for having almost half of the world’s mountain gorillas and thus is popular for gorilla trekking, giving visitors a chance to visitors to encounter the mountain gorillas in their natural habitats. The park is also home to the indigenous Batwa people, who offer an exciting safari experience. Arrive at your exclusive lodge and check in. You may opt for a spa treatment or spend a relaxed evening with stunning views of the forest. Enjoy your delicious dinner and a peaceful overnight.

Enjoy a leisurely, heavy breakfast at the lodge and later gather at the park headquarters for a briefing about mountain gorilla trekking. After the briefing, you will be assigned a park guide and a gorilla family. You will start your trekking experience right away through the dense forest in search of the mountain gorillas, where you will have a chance to encounter other animal species.

Once you find the gorillas, you will be allowed to spend 1 hour in their presence while witnessing these gentle giants taking care of their young ones and relaxing in their usual environment, thus offering an extraordinary experience. Later, you will descend to the starting point and be awarded the gorilla trekking certificate.

In the late afternoon, you will embark on a community tour to visit the Batwa or Bakiga communities, where you will engage in traditional activities such as music, dance and storytelling, giving you a chance to learn about the preservation of their culture and lifestyle.

Enjoy a final breakfast at the lodge, and be transferred to Kihihi Airstrip and fly to Kajjansi Airstrip, where you will later be transferred to Entebbe International Airport for your Departure as you conclude the 5-day Uganda Luxury Safari.
