6 Day Itinerary · Tanzania
Take part in this memorable safari in Tanzania which will take you to two wildlife destinations and these are Serengeti National Park and Ngorongoro Crater area. These protected areas offer the best spotting areas for wildlife including large and small mammals, birds, and plants.
Expect to meet animals like lions, elephants, buffalos, duikers, hippos, leopards and more. The game drives will highlight the tour. The Hot air ballooning tour and city tour are also included in the safari. If it’s a month for the migration, witness the annual wildebeest migration in millions together with zebras.
Your journey
Day 1
Arusha, Tanzania
Arrive in Arusha on the first day of your safari and meet your assigned driver guide who will take you through what a tour is all about plus the movements. Immediately, begin the tour by visiting notable attractions in Arusha city such as local markets, monuments, art and gallery centers, and others. After heading and checking in the booked hotel.
Day 2
Serengeti National Park
Leave Arusha in the morning after breakfast and head to Serengeti National Park the famous tourist destination in the world known for wildlife viewing in large numbers. The journey to the park is amazing as you pass through the different local homesteads, in the savannahs covered with baobab and acacia trees. Arrive and embark on the evening game drive to meet lions, leopards, elephants, buffalo, duikers, hyenas, and more. Head to the lodge for your overnight stay after dinner.
Day 3
Serengeti National Park
The two days will be spent exploring the endless serenity of Serengeti National Park through game drives and hot-air ballooning adventures. These experiences introduce you to large numbers of animals including hippos, impalas, elands, hyenas, topis, crocodiles, wildebeests, lions, leopards, cheetahs, kudu, dik-dik, warthogs, and many more others.
The hot air ballooning tour gives you a great aerial view of the surroundings hence aerial photography. These days will involve picnic lunches, bush breakfasts, sunrise and sunset among others.
Day 4
Ngorongoro Conservation Area.
Leave Serengeti and transfer to Ngorongoro Crater area a journey that lasts for 4 hours after breakfast. Arrive and descend to the base of the crater to enjoy a 5 hours game drive targeting to spot millions of wild animals and hundreds of birds. Expect to meet cheetahs, leopards, lions, elephants, zebras, giraffes, hyenas, rhinos, and many more. Head to the lodge booked for your dinner and night stay.
Day 5
Arusha, Tanzania
The last day will be of great adventure with an optional game drive in the plains 9f Ngorongoro which will be followed by a drive back to Arusha. Board your scheduled flight back home and this will mark the end of the safari.
