3 days Queen Elizabeth National Park safaris will take you through the exploration of the park for a limited time. During this period, you will have the opportunity to encounter several wildlife in one of the largest and most popular wildlife in Uganda’s savannah park.

This park is situated within western Uganda at the border of Uganda and the Democratic Republic of Congo. In this safari, you will engage in activities like game drive, boat cruise, equator experience, and sundowner.

You will encounter several wildlife including some of the big five like elephants, buffaloes, lions, and leopards. The other wildlife that you can see are kobs, warthogs, hippos, baboons, and many others.

Day 2: Full day in Queen Elizabeth National Park.

Day 3: Chimpanzee trekking and Transfer back to Kampala.

Day 1: Pick up and transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park.

You will start day 1 of 3 days of the Queen Elizabeth National Park safari with a transfer from Entebbe to the Queen Elizabeth National Park which is situated within western Uganda. This transfer will last about 7 hours of the day with a stopover in Fort Portal for lunch.

As you are to reach the park, you will make another stopover at the equator for photography and equator experience.

Later in the evening, You will go for an evening game drive in the kasenyi sector to encounter some of the wildlife like lions, leopards, buffaloes, warthogs, hippos, and many other wildlife.

Meal Plan: Lunch, dinner.

Day 2: Full day in Queen Elizabeth National Park.

You will wake up early in the morning and then proceed into the park for an early morning game drive to encounter several wildlife around the park in the northern sector. Later on, you will continue with the bush breakfast at a scenic point in the park.

After your bush breakfast, you will continue with the game drive and later return to the lodge for refreshment as you prepare for an afternoon boat cruise.

In the afternoon, you will continue with a boat cruise at the Kazinga Channel where you will encounter several wildlife like hippos, buffaloes, crocodiles, monitor lizards, and many others.

In the evening, you will continue to the Twin Lakes for a sundowner as you experience the sunset with refreshments.

Day 3: Chimpanzee trekking and Transfer back to Kampala.

On the last day of the 3 days Queen Elizabeth National Park, you will wake up early in the morning start over with a morning breakfast, and then route to Kyambura Gorge for chimpanzee trekking. While at the park headquarters in Kyambura, you will be highlighted about the dos and don’ts of the activity.

Later on, you will go ahead with the activity which will take about 2 to 4 hours of the day. As you come across the chimpanzee, you will have 1 hour viewing them while maintaining a distance of 7 meters.

You will later engage with the transfer back to Entebbe. As you arrive, you will continue with the transfer to the airport which will mark the end of the safari.
