3 days mount kenya climbing takes you to the Sirimon route to the hightest point Lenana. This hike is quite challenging and it requires travelers to be physically fit.
During the hike , you will experience the change in the vegtation cover.

Day 1: Transfer from Nairobi to Nanyuki to old Moses camp. (3300M).
Day 2: Hike to Shipton’s camp.
Day 3: Hike to Point Lenana and descend to Sirimon Park.

Day 1: Transfer from Nairobi to Nanyuki to old Moses camp. (3300M).
On arrival in Nairobi, you will start with the transfer to Nanyuki. You will meet your guides who will take you through the hike at the base of Mount Kenya.
Then you will go ahead with the hike where you will be escorted by the guides, porters, and cooks. Proceeding with the hike to the highest point, you will make a stopover at the old Moses camp which is at an elevation of 3300 meters.
You will experience a change in the vegetation cover of the area. Then you will stay there overnight.

Day 2: Hike to Shipton’s camp.
After your breakfast, you will start over with the morning breakfast and then proceed with an 8-hour hike to the Shipton’s camp. Upon arrival at the camp, then continue the hike of 900 meters to the Surreal Mackinders which is covered by the strange lobelia and ground sel.
With the hike between the glaciers, you will camp at the shipton’s hut.

Day 3: Hike to PointLenana and descend SirimonPark.
On the last day of the hike, you will start over with the early morning hike to the highest point Lenana. You will arrive at the sun riseat the highest peak of the mountain.
Then later on you will descend back to the Sirimon gate. On arrival at the gate, you will continue with the transfer to Nairobi.
Upon arrival in Nairobi, you will either be transferred to the airport for your outbound flights or hotel of your choice.
