The Tarangire River, an iconic water source in the park, gives Tarangire National Park its name. The park features large herds of elephants, majestic Baobab trees, and a wide variety of wildlife.

You’ll spend the day game viewing in Tarangire National Park, encountering diverse wildlife throughout the park. It will start from Arusha and end in Arusha.

You will have the chance to see lions, warthogs, giraffes, buffaloes, leopards, elephants, antelopes, and more wildlife.

Day 1: Pick up and transfer to Tarangire National Park.

On this day of the 1 day Tarangire National Park safari, you will be picked up at your hotel in Arusha or the Kilimanjaro International Airport and then continue with the transfer to the Tarangire National Park. This transfer will take about 2 to 3 hours of the day.

As you arrive in the park, your game viewing begins with opportunities to spot wildlife nearby. You will also see bird species around the park since the park is home to over 500 bird species.

In the evening, you will proceed with the transfer back to Arusha. While in Arusha, you will either go ahead with the airport transfer or the hotel of your choice.
