Introducing you to the 11-day Uganda Safari that will take you on a journey to Uganda’s iconic National parks. It is a perfect blend of the primate encounter, savannah wildlife encounter, culture immersion, and relaxation moments.
Some of the iconic National parks that you will encounter include Kibale National Park, Queen Elizabeth National Park, Ishasha sector, and Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. You will experience the changes in altitude from the lush dense forest cover to the savannah vegetation cover.
In the safari, you will engage in domestic chartered flights to reduce the transfer time back to Entebbe.

Details of the safari
Day 1: Arrival
On arrival at the Entebbe International Airport, you will be welcomed by the company representative, who will transfer you to the hotel in Entebbe.

Day 2: Transfer to Kibale National Park.
After your early morning breakfast, you will head on a transfer to the Kibale National Park in western Uganda. The transfer to the Kibale National Park will take about 5 to 6 hours of the day to reach the park.
Upon arrival in the park, you will be transferred to the hotel for relaxation, dinner, and overnight.

Day 3: Chimpanzee trekking and community visit.
In the morning of day 3 of the 11-day Uganda safari, you will go ahead with a transfer to the park headquarters for the chimpanzee trekking. At the park headquarters, you will engage in an orientation about the activity.
This orientation will be headed by the ranger guides. Later on, you will continue with the trekking which will take about 2 to 6 hours a day, where you will meet them.
As you come across them, you will spend 1 hour with them, viewing them at a distance of 7 meters.
In the evening, you will continue with a community visit to the Bigodi community, where you will engage in activities like cultural dances, banana brewing, coffee roasting, and many others.

Day 4: Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park
On this day, you will start with a relaxed morning breakfast at the lodge, and then later on you will continue with a transfer to the Queen Elizabeth National Park. During this transfer, you will make a stopover at the equator for photography.
Later on, you will continue with a game drive in the park, where you will encounter several species of wildlife. Later on, you will proceed to the kazinga channel where you will meet the boat that will transfer you to the lodge.

Day 5: Experiential game drive.
After your early morning breakfast, you will proceed with a boat transfer from the lodge to the mainland to continue with an experiential game drive around the park. Upon arrival at the Katunguru Landing site, you will proceed with a road transfer to the Kasenyi sector for an experiential game. In this experiential game drive, you will have an opportunity to encounter several species of wildlife, including the predators.
After the game drive, you will continue with a community visit to the Kasoga community. In this community visit, you will learn about the history of the community, and you will engage in several activities, such as cultural dances and stories, among others.

Day 6: Guided game drive and relaxation.
You start the day with an early morning breakfast and then continue with a transfer for a guided game drive around the park to encounter several other species of wildlife. After the game drive, you will return to the lodge for relaxation until the next day.

Day 7: Transfer by road to the Ishaasha sector.
Day 7 will start with a relaxed morning breakfast, you will check out of the lodge, and then proceed with a boat transfer to the mainland. Upon arrival at the Katunguru landing site, you will go ahead with a transfer to the Ishasha sector.
This transfer will take about 3 to 5 hours of the day to reach the Ishasha sector. You will continue to the lodge for relaxation as you prepare for the next day’s adventure.

Day 8: Guided game drive.
While in the Ishasha sector, you will start the morning with a refreshment and then continue with a guided game drive around the park. In this game drive, you will encounter several wildlife around the sector, like tree-climbing lions, leopards, buffaloes, kobs, warthogs, elephants, and many others.
You will make a stopover for a scenic breakfast at the scenic point in the park. Later on, you will continue with a game drive around the park.

Accommodation: Ishasha Wilderness Camp.
Day 9: Transfer to the Bwindi impenetrable National park.
After your early morning breakfast, you will start the day with a transfer to the Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. The transfer will take 3 to 4 hours a day. As you arrive in the park, you will be transferred to the hotel for dinner and overnight.

Day 10: Gorilla trekking and Batwa experience.
On the second last day of the 11-day Uganda safari, you will start the day with an early morning breakfast and then continue with a transfer to the park headquarters for a briefing about the gorilla trekking. In this briefing, you will be highlighted the dos and don’ts about the activity.
You will later continue with the activity which will take about 2 to 7 hours of the day upon where you meet the gorillas. As you come across the gorillas, you spend 1 hour viewing the gorillas at a distance of 7 to 8 meters.
In the evening, you will continue with a community visit to the Batwa community. In this community, you will proceed with activities like cultural dance, folk songs, coffee roasting, and many others.

Day 11: Transfer by air to Entebbe.
On the final day with us, you will start with a relaxed morning breakfast at the lodge. Then you will continue with a transfer to the Kihihi airstrip for a direct domestic flight to Entebbe.
On arrival at the Entebbe airport, you will choose to proceed for an international flight or be transferred to the hotel of your choice in Entebbe.
