Welcoming you to the 2 day Lake Mburo National Park safari that will take you through the encounter of the smallest savannah park in Uganda. This park is nested in western Uganda considered to be the nearest park to Kampala.
Lake Mburo National Park was gazetted in 1983 covering a total area of 260 square kilometers with a rich biodiversity. Some of the rich biodiversity of this park includes buffaloes, leopards, impalas, zebras, and many other wildlife.
This 2-day safari includes exciting activities in the park. Enjoy a game drive, boat cruise, nature walk, and Ankole cattle experience. Around the park, there are several Ankole cattle communities that you can visit to encounter the Ankole cattle.
2 day lake Mburo National Park safari will start from Entebbe and end in Entebbe.

Day 1: Transfer to Lake Mburo National Park.
Our driver will pick you up from your hotel or the airport and transfer you to Lake Mburo National Park in western Uganda. This transfer will take about 4 to 5 hours to reach the park.
In this transfer, you will make a stopover at the equator in Kayabwe for the photography and coffee experience. Later on, you will go ahead with the transfer to the park.
Upon arrival in the park, you will continue to start over with lunch and then continue with a boat cruise on Lake Mburo. The boat cruise on Lake Mburo will take you through encountering several wildlife like crocodiles, hippos, monitor lizards, and many others.
In the evening, you will continue with a night game drive.
You’ll have a chance to see nocturnal wildlife, including leopards, buffaloes, impalas, giraffes, and more.

Day 2: Walking safari, Ankole cattle experience and departure.
On this final day, you will rise early in the morning. Then, you will head out for a walking safari. This adventure lets you explore the park on foot, guided by an experienced ranger. Later on, you will continue with the Ankole cattle experience in the community near the park.
While in the Ankole community, you will join activities like milking, churning, tasting milk products, and more.
After the Ankole cattle experience, you will proceed with a transfer to Entebbe. Upon arrival in Entebbe, you will choose to be transferred to the airport for your outbound flights or the hotel of your choice which will mark the end of the safari.
