Welcome you to the 21-day Uganda safari, which is a perfect blended package for an adventure, culture, and wildlife encounter. In this safari,you will engage in Hiking of the highest mountain in Uganda, known as the Mountain Rwenzori, gorilla trekking in the Bwindi Impenetrable National Park,chimpanzee trekking in Kibale National Park, game drives in the Queen Elizabeth National Park, and Murchison Falls National Park.
This safari will combine the savannah national parks with the tropical forested national park. You will have a chance to see several wildlife that range from the savannah wildlife, primates, bird species, reptiles, and encounter several cultural communities.

Day 1: Arrival at Entebbe International Airport
Upon arrival at the Entebbe International Airport, you will meet a company representative who will transfer you from the airport to the hotel in Entebbe.

Day 2: Shoebill tracking – Head to Botanical gardens
Early morning, you will head to Mabamba a home to the rare shoebill. While there, you will trek for
the shoebill on a motorized canoe with the help of the on-site guide. Upon seeing the bird, feel free
to take pictures. After you will head back to the lodge for lunch in preparation for your evening walk
at the botanical gardens, while there you will see different bird species since it’s a home to over 220
birds like turacos, hornbills, sunbirds, herons, weavers, ibis, woodpeckers, kingfishers, and many
other

Day 3: Transfer to Murchison Falls National Park via Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary
After breakfast, you will check out of the lodge and head to Murchison Falls National Park via Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary. You will make a stopover at the Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary for rhino tracking.
At the sanctuary, you will embark on a foot adventure to see several rhinos and also have a chance to see the magnificent creatures in their natural habitat grazing. After you have had lunch and proceed with your journey to Murchison Falls National Park.

Day 4: Game drive – Boat cruise – Hike to the top of the falls
You will head for your game drive which will take you through several tracks of the park where you will
spot different mammal species such as lions, giraffes, buffaloes, hippo, waterbuck, oribi, Kobs,
warthogs, elephants, and many more as well as bird species including from there you will drive back
to the lodge for lunch as you refresh for your boat cruise activity which takes 2- 3 hours feel free to
packed snacks and drinks. During your cruise, you may spot Nile crocodiles, hippos,and many others.
Later on, you will continue with a hike to the top of the falls.

Day 5: Head to Kibale Forest National Park
You will start the day with a relaxed morning and then proceed with a transfer to Kibale National Park, also
known as the primate capital of the world. It’s a home to over 13 primates and the transfer will take 4 to 5 hours of day.

Day 6: Chimpanzee tracking – Bigodi
Early morning, you will head to the park headquarters for chimpanzee trekking, where you will start with an orientation about the activity. You will later continue where you will take 2 to 5 hours of the day.
As you come across the chimpanzees, you will have one hour to observe them as they go about their day-to-day activities, such as mothers breastfeeding, juveniles nursing, grooming, and many more. Feel free to take pictures and videos for memories after you head back to the lodge for lunch and refreshment. Bigodi nature walk will offer a chance to sight different primate species like red-tailed
monkeys, black and white colobus monkey, l’hoest monkey, as well as bird species such as blue-
headed coucal, black-billed turaco, long crested eagle, great blue turaco, red-fronted tinkerbird,
yellow stopped nicator, yellow billed barbet, purple-breasted sunbird, red-chested sunbird, collared
sunbird, scarlet chested sunbird, blue-breasted kingfisher, green-breasted pitta, black bee-eater,
Abyssinian ground thrush, dusky crimsonwing, black headed gonolek, little greenbul, double-toothed
Barbet, yellow rumped tinkerbird.

Day 7: Travel to Rwenzori Mountain National Park
After a cup of coffee, you will check out of the lodge and head to Rwenzori Mountain National Park
, also known as the Mystical challenge, and while there, you will hike for a week to reach the
snowcapped which will blow your mind with beautiful views. On reaching, you will check in at your
booked accommodation for lunch and overnight stay in preparation for the following day.

Day 8: Hiking from Nyakalengija – Nyabitaba Hut (2650m)
Having breakfast, you will check out of the lodge and head for your adventurous hike, which will take
5-7 hours from Nyakalengija to Nyabitaba Hut. During your hike in the dense montane rainforest,
you will sight different primates like Black and white colobus monkeys, l’hoest monkeys, and many
more, not forgetting the chameleons such as the three-horned chameleons and bird species.

Day 9: Trek to John Matte Hut (3350m)
You will check out of the lodge and proceed with your hike to John Matte hut
which takes 6- 7 hours. While there, you will descend through the thick forest and river Bujuku, where
you will hear the thunderous roars of the waterfalls. As you continue higher, you will sight bird
species including the Golden-backed sunbird, Rwenzori turaco, Narina trogon, and many more. You
will spend the night at John Matte Hut in preparation for the next day’s adventure.

Day 10: Hike to Bujuku Hut (3900m)
You will proceed with your trek, which will take 5 – 6hours. During your trek where you will ascend through the valleys where the landscape is rocky and rugged, and it’s also home to strange plants such as giant groundsel, lichens, and moss.
The climb is physically demanding and often shrouded in fog and cold winds. As you approach the hut, you are rewarded with breathtaking views of Mount Speke towering across the valley.
You will have dinner as you prepare for the following day.

Day 11: Trek to Elena Hut (4541m)
You will head for your hike which will take 5-7 hours. During there you will step into a completely different world from the lush valleys below, the rocky ridges, glaciers of Mount Stanley, the landscape here is stark and alpine, with little vegetation apart from mosses and lichens clinging to the rocks, and on clear days, you can see the icy sheets of the Stanley Glacier glittering above. On reaching Mount Stanley, you will check in for dinner and in preparation for the next day.

Day 12: Hike to Mount Stanley (5109m) to Kitandara Hut (4027m)
Having breakfast, you will continue with your hike, which will take 8 to 7 hours. While there, you will
climb with crampons and ropes and descend to Kitandara, where you will have great views of
Margherita Peak, the 3rd highest peak in Africa, and scenic views of Congo and Uganda.

Day 13: Trek to Guy Yeoman Hut (3260m)
You will embark on your trek to Guy Yeoman Hut, situated at an altitude of
3260 meters, covering approximately 5 hours. Enjoy scenic views of the surrounding mountains and
valleys, with potential wildlife sightings, as you hike. Spend the night at the cozy Guy Yeoman Hut
and prepare for the next day.

Day 14: Descend to Nyakalenglja trail (1600m)
After having breakfast, you descend to the Nyakalengija trail (1600m), covering approximately 5
hours. Take in the breathtaking views of the surrounding landscape as you wind your way down,
enjoying the lush vegetation and scenic vistas. The descent offers a glimpse into local culture and
daily life, culminating at the Nyakalengija trailhead. After you will head to your booked
accommodation for lunch and relaxation.

Day 15: Travel to Queen Elizabeth National Park – Game drive
Having a cup of coffee, you will check out of the lodge and drive to Queen Elizabeth National Park
home to several wildlife, and the Kazinga channel on reaching the park, you will check in.
Lunch as you prepare for your evening game drive, where you will come across different mammals
species such as leopards, lions, warthogs, waterbucks, bushbucks, elephants, buffaloes, Topis, Kobs,
oribis and many more and bird species. After you will drive back to the lodge for dinner and a night's
stay.

Day 16: Game drive – Boat cruise
After having breakfast, you will head for your morning game drive in the savannah plains of the park
During the game drive, you will spot different wildlife species like lions, leopards, elephants, Kobs,
waterbucks, bush bucks, warthogs, oribis, Topis, buffalo, not to mention a few, not forgetting birds
species such as the red-billed oxpeckers, yellow-billed oxpeckers, white headed buffalo weavers,
hooded vultures, and many more.
From there, you will have lunch in preparation for your boat cruise activity on the Kazinga channel, which takes 2-3 hours. Feel free to pack some snacks and drinks. During your cruise, you will have a chance to spot crocodiles, hippopotamuses, and other
mammals, including elephants, waterbucks, buffalo, quashing their thirst as well as water birds like
herons, kingfishers, cormorants, egrets, and many more.
You will go ahead with a sundowner at the Twin Lakes with the park.

Day 17: Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park
You will start the day with a relaxed morning at the lodge and later you will go ahead with a transfer to the Bwindi Impenetrable National Park via the Ishasha sector. In the Ishasha sector, you will engage in a game drive to encounter several wildlife species around the park.

Day 18: Gorilla trekking – Batwa community visit
You will rise early morning and then proceed with a transfer to the park headquarters for the orientation about the gorilla trekking. In this orientation, you will be highlighted the dos and don’ts about the activity and later on you will go ahead with the activity which will take 2 to 7 hours of the day upon where you meet the gorillas.
As you come across the gorillas, you will have 1 hour viewing at a distance of 7 meters. Then after the tracking, you will return to the lodge for relaxation as you prepare for the Batwa community visit.
In the evening, you will go ahead with the community visit to the Batwa where you will learn more about their lifestyle. In this community visit, you will engage in activities like cultural dances, forest walks, coffee roasting, storytelling, and many others.

Day 19: Head to Lake Bunyonyi
After breakfast, you will check out of the lodge and drive to Lake Bunyonyi, also known as a place of
many little birds and a home to over 29 islands that you might visit. On your way, you will have lunch
and embark on your journey to Lake Bunyonyi. On reaching there, you will check in at your booked
accommodation.

Day 20: Canoeing – Community visit
You will head for your canoeing activity where you will have a chance to visit
some of the islands, like Akampene Island, also known as punishment island, Bacuranuka Island,
known as upside down island and each island has its own interesting history as well as sighting
different bird species like weavers, egrets, cormorants, herons, kingfishers and many more. From
there, you will have lunch and refresh as you prepare for your community visit. There, you will
interact with the Kigezi people and learn more about their way of living, visit their farms, and participate in the tea plantation harvest.

Day 21: Depart for Entebbe
On the final day, you will start the day with an early morning breakfast and then proceed with a transfer to Entebbe. You will make a stopover at the equator for photography and lunch.
Later, continue to Entebbe where you will have the option to be dropped off at the airport or a hotel of your choice.
