Welcoming you to an exclusive 3-day Rwanda chimpanzee trekking safari which will take you through the encounter of one of the large primates chimpanzee. In this safari , you will engage on foot adventure in the lush tropical forest of the Nyungwe Forest National Park.
The park is located within the western Part of Rwanda near the border point of Rwanda , Burundi , and the Democratic Republic of Congo. In this safari ,you will engage in the Kigali city tour where you will learn about the history and evolution of the country.

Day 1 : Kigali city tour and transfer to Nyungwe Forest National Park
Day 2 : Chimpanzee trekking and canopy walk
Day 3 : Transfer to Kigali
Details of the safari
Day 1: Kigali City Tour and Transfer to Nyungwe Forest National Park.
On this day , you will meet the safari guide who will take you through a briefing about the safari. Later, you will go ahead with a Kigali city tour, where you will visit several sites and attractions around the city.
Some of the sites that you will encounter during the city tour include the Kigali Genocide Museum, the Belgian Monument , local markets , and many others.
Later on, you will go ahead with a transfer to the Nyungwe Forest National Park. Upon arrival at the park , you will proceed with a check-in to the Lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 2 : Chimpanzee trekking and canopy walk.
On this adventure day , you will rise early in the morning and start over the day with breakfast. Later on, you will go ahead with a transfer to the park headquarters to start over with the chimpanzee trekking.
While at the park headquarters , you will engage in an orientation about the activity where you will be highlighted the dos and don’ts about the activity. After the orientation , you will be assigned to professional rangers who will take you through the tracking of the chimpanzee.
As you come across the chimpanzee , you will have 1 hour viewing them in their natural habitat maintianing a distance of 8 meters. You return to the lodge for lunch and relaxation.
Later in the afternoon , you will continue with the canopy walk that will be done on a suspended bridge at the top of the Nyungwe forest. In this walk , you will encounter several wildlife like bird species and small primates.

Day 3 : Transfer to Kigali
On the final day with us , you will start the day with an early morning breakfast and then proceed with a transfer to Kigali . While in Kigali, you will choose to be transferred to the airport or hotel of your choice which will mark the end of the safari.
