Embarking on a life adventure to encounter the large and powerful primates that are located within southwestern Uganda in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. This safari takes less time to see the mountain gorillas.
Tracked gorillas in this park are habituated for them to get used to the human presence where this period takes about 2 years. These endangered primates share about 98% DNA with man.
In Bwindi’s impenetrable National Park, there are over 20 habituated gorilla families situated in all sectors of the park. Sectors of Bwindi Impenetrable National Park include Buhoma, Rushaga, Nkuringo, and Ruhija.

Day 1: Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park.
On day one as you arrive at the Entebbe International Airport, you will meet the company guide who will take you through a short briefing about the safari and then transfer you from the airport.
You will then continue with the journey to the Bwindi Impenetrable National Park in southwestern Uganda which will take about 9 hours of the day.
You will make a stopover in Mbarara for lunch and then later continue to the park. Upon arrival in the park, you will be transferred to the lodge for relaxation as you prepare for the next day’s adventure.

Day 2: Gorilla trekking and Batwa community experience.
The second last day of 3 day Uganda gorilla trekking midrange package, you will start with an early morning breakfast and then proceed to the park headquarters for the briefing to the briefing about the trekking.
You will be highlighted the dos and don’ts of the activity.
This activity will ensure a successful activity. You will then be grouped into a group of 8 people. Each group is allowed to visit a gorilla family.
You will go ahead with the activity under the guidance of the ranger guide who will ensure your safety. It will take about 2 to 7 hours of the day upon where you meet the gorillas.
As you come across the gorillas, you will have 1 hour to viewing them maintaining a distance of 7 meters.
Later on, you will engage in the Bwata community visit that is believed to be early inhabitants that lived with the gorillas.
In this community, you have an opportunity to learn about the lifestyle of the Batwa in activities like coffee roasting, banana brewing, cultural dances, and many others.
In the evening, you will return to the lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 3: Transfer to Entebbe.
You will rise early morning and then go ahead with an early morning breakfast after continuing with the transfer to Entebbe. In the transfer to Entebbe, you will make a stopover at the equator point in Kayabwe.
While at the equator point, you will have your en-route lunch and coffee experience. Later on, you will continue to the airport for your outbound flights.
This will mark the end of the 3 day Uganda gorilla trekking Midrange package.
