3-day Uganda last-minute gorilla trekking offers a thrilling experience with the mountain gorillas that you can book at the last Minute. This safari will take you through the lush forests of Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, which is considered a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
This park is home to half of the world’s population of mountain gorillas that is nested in southwestern Uganda. 3 day Uganda last-minute gorilla trekking will offer you a short experience to encounter the mountain gorillas.
This safari blends in the Batwa experience, showcasing one of the communities that once lived with the gorillas in the forest. You will meet the Batwa and explore their unique lifestyle.

Details of the safari
Day 1: Pick up and transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park.
On this day, the company guide will either pick you up from your hotel or meet you at the airport. The guide will transfer you to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park in southwestern Uganda. You will make a stopover in Mbarara for lunch at the Igongo Cultural Centre. Later on, you will continue with the transfer to the park.

Day 2: Gorilla trekking and Batwa experience.
After your early morning breakfast on the second last day of the 3-day Uganda last-minute gorilla trekking, your guide will transfer you for the gorilla trekking. At the park headquarters, the rangers will conduct an orientation session. During this session, they will brief you on the dos and don’ts of the activity.
Later on, you will be grouped in groups of 8 pax where each group visits about 1 gorilla family. You will continue with the activity under the guidance of the ranger guide.
Gorilla trekking will take about 2 to 6 hours of the day on where you meet the gorillas. As you come across these primates, you will have 1 hour of viewing the gorillas maintaining a distance of 7 meters.
In the evening, you will continue with a community visit to the Batwa community. In this community, you will engage in activities like coffee roasting, cultural dances, folk songs, storytelling, and many others.
Later on, continue to the lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 3: Departure.
Today will mark the final day of the 3 day Uganda last-minute gorilla trekking, you will start with an early morning breakfast and then continue with the transfer to Entebbe. In this transfer, you will make a stopover at the equator point of Uganda for the experience of coffee and photography.
Later on, you will proceed to the airport for your outbound flights.
