The 3 days Uganda Gorilla Trekking Safari in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park will bring you face to face with the massive giants of Bwindi – the mountain gorillas. The park is located in the South Western part of Uganda covering an area of 321 sq.km. The forest lies between 1160m- 2607m above sea level and is famous for being home to over 450 mountain gorillas.
Detailed Itinerary:
Day 1. Travel to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park.
Your day will start after an early breakfast and you will meet your guide and embark on your gorilla Safari southwards to Bwindi Impenetrable forest. On your way, you will be able to see the rural and semi-urban set up of Uganda with several fruit and vegetable markets, craft and drum makers and you will have a stopover at the Equator photos. Then continue with your journey as you make a stopover in Mbarara for lunch and after continue aiming to reach at the lodge in the evening. You pass through the beautiful cultivated hills with magnificent landscape nature plus other view of the forest with chances of seeing monkeys as you drive to reach the Lodge. Overnight at Gorilla Mist Camp.

Day 2. Gorilla trekking in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park.
Today early morning, your driver guide will pick you from the lodge and take you to the briefing point before you set off for the trek at 8am. Your driver guide will register you with the ranger on duty to be allocated a gorilla family and your ranger guide will eventually pick you and start your trek in the hilly jungle of Bwindi. After seeing Gorillas you are guaranteed one hour with them as learn more about their nature and taking photos as you wish. The forest also has primates like colobus, vervet monkeys, L’hoest’s monkeys, blue monkeys.

Day 3. Transfer to Entebbe for a flight/exit.
After breakfast, you drive back to Entebbe. Make a stopover at the Equator for lunch and photography as you continue to Entebbe for the flight.
