Detailed itinerary.

Day 1. Transfer to Murchison Falls national Park via Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary for Rhino trekking.

Leave in the morning and start a long journey for about 7 hours to Murchison Falls National Park in the South Western Uganda. Along the way stop at Ziwa rhino sanctuary for rhino trekking, here you go for a trek to have a view of the Rhinos grazing and drinking water for an hour. Have lunch along the way and continue to the park. Check in at the park and drive to the top of the fall, see the cleft where the Nile River fixes its self into a 7m gap, from here continue to your lodge close to park.

 Overnight at Hornbill Bush Lodge.

 Day 2. Early game drive & Launch trip-optional cultural encounters.

Wake up early morning and head out for a game drive in the park. You go through certain tracks like Victoria, Albertine, and Queen’s tracks. Here you get chances of seeing lions in wait for prey as they go to drink and other animals like Elephants, Giraffes, Buffalos plus the birds like hornbills, kingfishers, eagles, hawks and primates. After the game drive go for lunch and then head for a 3 hours’ boat trip to bottom of the falls.

You will experience an astonishing display of wildlife like hippos, Elephants, buffaloes, crocodiles and a memorable frontal view of the falls plus a variety of water loving birds like jacanas, herons, geese, and fish eagle especially if it is a morning cruise. After the cruise you will take a drive through the park in the afternoon to increase the chances of seeing what you may have missed.

 Day 3. Chimpanzee trekking in Budongo forest and transfer to Entebbe.

Wake up early morning (6 am) for a morning walk in the Budongo Forest that’s surrounded in the vast landscapes, varied scenery of the park and the surrounding conservation area through trails like Kaniyo Pabidi and Rabongo forest which provide sightings of many primates. We shall after our breakfast, drive here for a chimp trekking session before we exit the park.
