In this safari , you will start with a transfer to the Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, where you will experience the change in altitude of the area and lush vegetation . You will engage in activities like gorilla trekking , community visits, and  nature walks.

The gorilla encounter experience  will take you to the Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, which is home to almost half of the world’s population of the mountain gorillas. Encountered gorillas during  a safari are first habituated  for them to get used to the  human presence.

Details of the safari.

Day 1 : Arrival and transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park.

On day 1 of the 4-day CTC conservation area and gorilla safari, you will start with a transfer to the Bwindi Impenetrable National Park situated in south-western Uganda. It will take about  8 to 9 hours of the day to reach the park.

You will make a stopover at Igongo Cultural Centre for lunch . Upon arrival at the lodge , you will continue to the lodge  for dinner and overnight.

Day 2: Gorilla trekking and Batwa community.

After your early morning breakfast , you will start with a transfer to the  Park headquarters. At the park headquarters, you will engage in an orientation where you will be highlighted the dos and don’ts about the gorillas.

You will later continue with the gorilla trekking, which will take 2 to 7 hours  of the day upon where you meet the gorillas. As you come across the gorillas , you will have 1 hour viewing them at a distance of  7 meters.

Later in the evening , you will continue  with a community visit to the  Batwa who are believed to be early inhabitants who lived with gorillas . You will engage in activities like coffee roasting , cultural dances , banana brewing , and many others.

Day 3 : Transfer to the CTC conservation area.

Today, you will start over with an early morning breakfast and then you will continue with a transfer to the  CTC conservation area . This conservation area was established to focus on wildlife conservation , creating community awareness about wildlife , and community development.

Upon arrival , you will be transferred to the  hotel for dinner, relaxation , and the night.

Day 4 :  Full day at the CTC and transfer to Entebbe.

On the final day of the 4-day CTC conservation area and gorilla safari , you will proceed with a morning breakfast and then later on  continue to the centre for a full day experience. On arrival at the centre , you will start with an orientation about the centre and be followed by the dos and don’ts.

Later on, you will continue with the activity where you will encounter a number of wildlife like lions , zebras ,giraffes , crocodiles , and many other animals.

After that, you will go ahead with a transfer to Entebbe. Upon arrival in Entebbe, you will choose to  be dropped at the airport for an outbound flight or hotel of your choice.
