Embark on the captivating 5-day Uganda Luxury Primate Safari which offers the opportunity to encounter large primates, including chimpanzees and mountain gorillas. These primates are believed to share a DNA of about 98% with humans.

On this 5 day Uganda’s luxury primate safari, you will visit two iconic forested parks that is Bwindi Impenetrable National Park and Kibale National Park. You will engage in several activities that include gorilla trekking and chimpanzee trekking.

These activities offer a 1-hour experience with these primates. While on this safari, you will engage in the communities around the parks. In the Bwindi impenetrable, you will engage in the community visit of the Batwa who is one of the inhabitants that lived with the gorillas in the forest.

Whereas in the Kibale National Park, the Bigodi community will offer you the best experience for a community tour

Day 1: Transfer to the Bwindi Impenetrable National Park.

Day 2: Gorilla trekking and community visit of the Batwa.

Day 3: Transfer to Kibale National Park.

Details of the safari.

Day 1: Transfer to the Bwindi Impenetrable National Park.

Upon arrival at the Entebbe International Airport, You will meet a company guide who will transfer you from the airport to the hotel for refreshments as you prepare to transfer to the Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. You will have a short briefing about 5 day Uganda Luxury primate safaris.

Later you will engage in the transfer to the Bwindi Impenetrable National Park which is situated in southwestern Uganda. This transfer will take about 8 to 9 hours of the day to reach the park.

In this transfer, you will make a stopover at the equator for a photography and coffee experience. While in the park, you will continue to the lodge for relaxation, dinner, and overnight.

Day 2: Gorilla trekking and community visit of the Batwa.

On day 2 of the 5 day Uganda luxury primate safari, you will rise early morning and start over with a morning breakfast. After your breakfast, you will continue with a transfer to the park headquarters for the briefing about the gorilla trekking.

In this briefing, you will be highlighted the dos and don’ts about the gorilla trekking. You will later be grouped in groups of 8 people where each group is allowed to visit one gorilla family.

You will go ahead with the activity which will last about 2 to 7 hours upon where you meet the gorillas.  As you come across them, you will have 1 hour to view them in their natural habitat.

In the evening, you will later continue to the community visit of the Batwa. In the community, you will join with the community in several activities like cultural dances, flok songs, storytelling, and many others.

Day 3: Transfer to Kibale National Park.

You will start this day with an early morning breakfast and then proceed with a transfer to the Kibale National Park. In the transfer to the Kibale National Park, you will make a stopover in the Queen Elizabeth National Park for a short game drive.

In the game drive in the Queen Elizabeth National Park, you will see several savannah wildlife like lions, leopards, buffaloes, kobs, and many others.

Then you will continue with the transfer to Kibale National Park.

Day 4: Chimpanzee and Bigodi community tour.

On the second last day of the 5-day Uganda luxury primate safari, You will start with an early morning breakfast and then engage in the adventure of day 5. This adventure will take you to the park headquarters for the orientation about the chimpanzee trekking.

This orientation will be led by the ranger guide who will offer you the guidelines to follow during the chimpanzee trekking. Later, you will engage in chimpanzee trekking where the duration of this activity will last about 2 to 7 hours of the day upon where meet the chimpanzee.

In the evening, you will continue with the adventure to the Bigodi community that is near the park. You will go ahead with several activities like coffee roasting, banana brewing, cultural dances, craft making, and many others.

Day 5: Transfer to Entebbe.

On the final day of the 5-day Uganda Luxury Primate Safari, You will start with a relaxed breakfast and then transfer to Entebbe. In this transfer, you will make a stopover at the tea plantations for the tea experience.

Later continue with the transfer to Entebbe. As you are in Entebbe, you will choose to be transferred to the airport for your outbound flight or hotel of your choice.
