Detailed itinerary
Day 1. Arrival in Nairobi Kenya and transfer to Masai Mara
On arrival at the airport in Nairobi, the driver guide assigned to you will welcome you with a smile and quickly takes you through briefing about this great safari to Masai Mara NR and Lake Nakuru. Also acquire all the basics and other necessities you might need to use while on the safari like Kenyan money. Begin the drive to Masai Mara passing through the Great Rift Valley viewing points. Arrive and embark on a game drive and this will create everlasting memories depending on the arrival time. Head to the lodge for overnight stay.
Day 2 & 3. Exploring Mara plains
These days will be spent exploring the beautiful endless scenery taking part in game drives, hot air ballooning and cultural immersion of the Masai. Expect to meet different animals and birds with hopes of the big five animals, big cats, great moments like witnessing the annual wildebeest migration (this occurs between May and December).
The hot air ballooning rewards you with a chance to have an aerial view of the surrounding. Take part in visiting the Masai Village through taking part in music dance and drama, tasting local dishes, and more.
Day 4. Transfer to Lake Nakuru NP
Head to Lake Nakuru after enjoy a heavy breakfast. This park gets it name from Lake Nakuru the famous Lake known for homing the flamingoes. Depending on the arrival time, take part in the evening game drive where you expect to meet animals like rhinos, elephants, giraffes, lions and many more others. Later in the evening, head to the lodge for dinner and overnight.
Day 5. Full-day game drive
Spend a full day exploring the beautiful plains of Lake Nakuru national park through game drives with a chance to spot animals like Rothschild giraffes, cape buffaloes, olive baboons, impalas, waterbucks, hippos, colobus monkeys, spotted hyenas, zebras, gazelles, and many more others. Enjoy sunrise and sunset, bush breakfast and more great moments.
Day 6. Head back to Nairobi and fly home
Enjoy breakfast and head back to Nairobi at Jomo Kenyatta international Airport to board your flight back home.
