Welcoming you to the 8-Day Uganda &Rwanda Big Five safari, which will take you to encounter several wildlife species, including the Big Five. In this safari, you will encounter several destinations in Uganda and Rwanda.
While on the 8-day Uganda &Rwanda big five safari, you will encounter destinations like Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary, Murchison Falls National Park, Queen Elizabeth National Park, and Akagera National Park.
In this big five safari, you will encounter several big five wildlife like lions, leopards, buffalo, elephants, and rhinos. The other wildlife encountered during the safari includes giraffes, warthogs, zebras, kobs, olive baboons, and many other species of wildlife.
The 8-day Uganda &Rwanda big five safari will start from Entebbe and end in Kigali.

Day 1: Arrival at the Entebbe International Airport
Day 2: Transfer to Murchison falls National park via Ziwa rhino sanctuary

Day 5: Full day in Queen Elizabeth National Park
Day 6: Transfer to Akagera National Park

Details of the safari.
Day 1: Arrival at the Entebbe International Airport
Upon arrival at the Entebbe International Airport, you will be transferred from the airport to your hotel in Entebbe. While at the hotel, you can have dinner and rest for the night, preparing for the next day.
Meal plan: Dinner.
Day 2: Transfer to Murchison Falls National Park via Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary.
Day 2 will start with an early morning breakfast and then continue with a transfer to the Murchison Falls National Park. In this transfer, you will make a stopover at the Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary for rhino tracking.
During the rhino tracking, you will encounter several rhino species around the sanctuary. Later on, you will continue with the transfer to the Murchison Falls National Park.
While in the Murchison Falls National Park, you will start with the hike to the top of the falls.

Day 3: Full day in Murchison Falls National Park.
On this day, you will rise early in the morning and start with an early morning game drive which will take you through the encounter of several wildlife, including some of the big five wildlife. Some of the wildlife encountered includes lions, leopards, buffalo, giraffes, elephants, warthogs, and many other species of wildlife.
Then later on, you will continue with a bush breakfast at the scenic point in the park. In the afternoon, after you are done with lunch, you will continue with the transfer to Paara for a boat cruise.
As you are on the boat cruise, you will have an up-close view of the bottom of the falls and several species of wildlife on the river banks.

Day 4: Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park.
Day 4 will start with the Morning breakfast and then continue with the transfer game drive to Queen Elizabeth National Park. In the transfer, you will make a stopover in Fort Portal for Lunch.
Then you will continue with the transfer to the park. In the evening, you will engage in an evening game drive.
Later on, you will continue with the transfer to the lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 5: Full day in Queen Elizabeth National Park.
The full day in the Queen Elizabeth National Park will proceed with the experiential game drive in the park, which will take you through encounters with the various wildlife around the park. Later on, you will return to the lodge for relaxation.
In the afternoon, you will continue with the boat cruise on the Kazinga channel. The boat cruise on the Kazinga will take you through an encounter with the wildlife like buffaloes, elephants, crocodiles, monitor lizards, and many others.

Day 6: Transfer to Akagera National Park.
You will rise early in the morning and start with breakfast, and then later on, you will continue with the transfer to the Akagera National Park. In this transfer, you will engage in a border crossing to Rwanda via the Katuna border.
On arrival in the park, you will continue to the park for dinner and overnight.

Day 7: Full day in Akagera National Park.
On the second last day of the 8-day Uganda &Rwanda big five safari, you will start the day with an early morning breakfast. Then later on, you will continue with the game drive where you will encounter some of the big five wildlife and other wildlife around the park.
In the afternoon, you will continue with the transfer to Lake Ihema for a boat cruise. While on the boat cruise, you will see several species of wildlife around the park.

Day 8: Balloon safaris and transfer to the airport.
On the last day of the 8-day Uganda & Rwanda Big Five safari, you will start with the early morning transfer into the park for an early balloon safari. This activity will start with the briefing, where you will be shown the dos and don’ts.
Then later you will continue with the activity, which will take about 1 hour. In this activity, you will have an aerial view of the park.
Later on, you will continue with the transfer to Kigali. While in Kigali, you will be transferred to the airport for your outbound flights.
