Detailed Itinerary of the safari

Day 1: Transfer from Entebbe to Lake Mburo National Park

From Entebbe through the roadside towns and markets on a road transfer of about 4-5hours with a stopover at the Uganda Equator into the hilly ecosystem of savannah grassland in the heart of western Uganda

Check in at the hotel and have a relaxing, delicious lunch, head out for a guided nature walk, and crown your day with a boat cruise, having close views of the crocodiles, water birds, hippos, and other mammals

Dinner and overnight at the lodge

Day 2: Morning game drive and Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park

Enjoy an early morning breakfast, briefing from the ranger guide, and a morning guided game drive in the park, encountering the different antelopes, zebras, giraffes, buffaloes, hyenas, different bird species like the eagles, barbets, flycatchers, and more

Embark on your journey to the home of the endangered mountain gorillas, the hills, beautiful scenery and landscapes, greenery, vegetation, tea plantations, and local towns. An en route packed lunch on a drive of 7-8hours with a few stopovers on the road. Upon reaching the lodge, check in, dinner, and overnight

Day 3: Gorilla Trekking and Batwa Cultural Experience

Early morning breakfast at the lodge, transfer to the park headquarters for trek briefing by the ranger guide. With a maximum of 8 trekker embark on your search for the rare and endangered Gorillas in thick undergrowing and tall trees of the forests led by the ranger guides, taking 3-5hours hiking depending on the location of there feeding route, you will have an hour to have a close encounter with these gorillas as they play, feed and care for each other in their natural habitat.

Lunch followed by the Batwa cultural experience, a dwelling tribe of Bwindi Forest, enjoying the traditional dances, storytelling, ways of settlement, and traditional practices. Dinner and overnight at the lodge in Mgahinga

Day 4: Golden Monkey Trekking

After your early morning breakfast at the lodge, a short drive to the park headquarters for a trek briefing, and set off for the trek. With the ranger guides leading the way, enter the forest hiking following the feeding routes of these in the bamboo forest, and spend quality time in close encounter with them as they feed on the bamboo shoots. Small primates like the red-tailed monkeys, black and white colobus monkey, other mammals like the bushbucks, forest elephants, forest birds, and the breathtaking breeze of the forest

Lunch, dinner, and overnight at the lodge

Day 5: Road Transfer to Entebbe

Enjoy the last breakfast of your trip at the lodge, check out, and embark on your transfer back to Entebbe through the scenic views of the Kisiro-Kabale hills, taking 8-9hours on the road. En route lunch in Mbarara town and more stopovers till you reach Entebbe
